At Astek, we are convinced that the success of our projects relies on the expertise and commitment of our consultants. Today, we shine a spotlight on the journey of Mohamed Sif, who perfectly embodies this dynamic.

A rich and international career path

A trained engineer, Mohamed began his career in the automotive industry as a 3D Wire Harness Designer for the Peugeot 208. He then progressed at Bombardier, where he coordinated between R&D and production, before joining Stellantis as Group Design Leader then Project Leader on several strategic programmes (Peugeot 208, Opel Corsa, Citroën C4, Peugeot 2008).
These experiences allowed him to develop solid technical and managerial expertise in managing complex projects.

The Astek adventure in Sweden

Upon joining Astek, Mohamed integrated Ourobay, an engine supplier for Volvo Cars, as Component Responsible for the sensors perimeter. For two years, he managed the development, quality and supplier coordination of essential components (NOx and temperature sensors).
Today, he is embarking on a new major assignment: Project Leader within the Vehicle Software Technology department at Volvo Trucks, on an autonomous trucks programme developed with Aurora.
A forward-looking project, where Mohamed ensures planning, cross-team coordination and technological integration between partners.

Expertise and added value

His role is not limited to the technical aspect. It also involves facilitating collaboration between stakeholders with different methods, anticipating quality and cost risks, and ensuring a smooth and secure integration of components.
With his experience, Mohamed brings not only technical mastery, but also an ability to unite and structure, which are indispensable in projects of such scale.

Astek’s support

If Mohamed has been able to take these steps, it is also thanks to the support offered by Astek: tailored training, managerial support and international career opportunities. Our role is to enable our talents to grow, while putting their expertise at the service of our clients’ strategic projects.
With profiles like Mohamed’s, Astek contributes to shaping the future of mobility, by participating in projects that push the boundaries of innovation.
